For more information, visit Fortmillsc.com.</p><p><b>River Hills club renovations nearly complete</b></p><p> LAKE WYLIE -- Dean White, board president at River Hills Country Club, announces the club has made significant changes at the facility.</p><p> "While River Hills Country Club has always been one of the premier facilities in the area, these new additions will provide our members with amenities that are second to none in both North and South Carolina," he said.</p><p> Renowned architect Kris Spence redesigned and rebuilt the bunkers using the same white sand found at Augusta National. Extensive renovations were made at the driving range, expanding the tee area from 10,000 square feet to 25,000 square feet. New irrigation was installed, and the area was laser leveled and sodded with Champion Bermuda grass.</p><p> The clubhouse front entrance was rebuilt, the interior and exterior painted, new hardwood floors and carpet laid, and there's new furniture in the lobby. Also, there's a new stone fireplace in the lounge and new patio overlooking the driving range.</p><p> A new clay tennis court has been added, and restrooms at the swimming pool are being renovated.
