Sport Clips event Friday in Fort Mill
FORT MILL -- Sport Clips will have a ribbon-cutting and grand opening event at 10 a.m. Friday at its new location of 1135 Stonecrest Blvd., suite 119, Fort Mill. It is located in front of the Tega Cay Wal-Mart off S.C. 160.
This is Sport Clips' second location in York County with three more planned in the near future. The business, which has a sports atmosphere, offers hair cuts for men and boys.

Mills joins Sloan
CLOVER -- Pam Mills of Clover has joined the staff at Sloan Financial Group, LLC as bookkeeper and tax professional.
Mills previously was employed by Rehabilitation & Health Center of Gastonia, as payroll benefits coordinator. She is a native of Clover with more than 30 years experience in bookkeeping, payroll and tax services.

Agent achieves career milestone
CLOVER -- Bobby Meek, sales associate for Century 21 Palmetto Homes at 508 Bethel St., will be awarded the Century 21 System's Centurion Producer Award following his 2007 sales success.
The Centurion award honors Century sales associates who earn $209,000 in sales production or 60 closed transaction sides within a calendar year.
