FORT MILL -- Business leaders of York County are invited the first Networking After Hours event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grapevine Wine Shop | Wine Bar, Baxter Village, 1012 Market St., Fort Mill.
Networking events will be held the first Wednesday of each month.
Everyone is welcome to attend this event. No affiliation or membership in any group is required. This networking event is for professionals who build business through relationships.

Event set for Thursday at Wylie
LAKE WYLIE -- Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business After Hours from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 5 at Kodiak Mini Storage, 4560 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie.
The evening will celebrate Kodiak's grand opening. The self-service storage company has facilities in Lake Wylie and Concord, N.C., with features including clean and well-lighted units that are completely fenced, climate controlled and supervised with surveillance cameras. Access to the units is available 24/7 via a computerized gate.
Business After Hours is open to chamber members and invited guests. It is one of many networking opportunities provided by the chamber.

Clover Curves, a Shining Star
CLOVER -- Curves recently announced the Clover Curves club has earned the prestigious Shining Star club designation for meeting rigorous standards in business practices, service quality and adherence to Curves methods.
"At the heart of the Shining Star program lies a desire to provide a consistent experience at every Curves location," said Corporate Communications Manager Becky Frusher in a press release. "Members expect to receive the same great quality and service no matter where they go, and the Shining Star program will enable us to provide that."
Clubs applying for Shining Star status must complete a checklist of items in several categories, then submit it to the area director. Shining Star Club status is given only after all documentation is reviewed and approved by corporate.
"Becoming a Shining Star Club wasn't easy," said Jennifer Hartsell, Clover Curves franchise owner. "But the process helped us to identify areas where we could improve and also highlighted areas where we were already excelling. We are proud to be a Curves Shining Star club and share that recognition with our Clover members."
