    The Schiele Museum of Natural History invites visitors to take a safari through one of its largest exhibits it’s ever created exploring the world of mammals.

    • Community Cafe expanding to Fort Mill

      The cafe provides free soup, sandwiches and more from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Wednesdays in the family life center of River Hills Community Church at 104 Hamilton’s Ferry Road. The cafe, which started serving lunches in January 2010, set its sights on expanding early on, said chef Don Murfin. The new Fort Mill location at Bethlehem Baptist church will serve dinner from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays.

    Lake Wylie group joins Walk to Stop Diabetes

    Lake Wylie’s Glucose Gladiators team joined more than 1,000 area residents Nov. 3 at the American Diabetes Association’s Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes held at Symphony Park.
