LAKE WYLIE -- Roger Pope of Statesville, N.C., topped the field of boaters during Saturday's North Carolina Division Bass Fishing Leauge tournament on Lake Wylie. Pope collected five fish at 19 pounds, 10 ounces for the top prize of $4,874.
Parks Jones Jr. of York was the highest local finisher at 17th, reeling in five fish weighing 14 pounds, 13 ounces. In total, 187 boats competed.
