Frankie McCall

Clover -- Frankie Wood McCall, 90, of Clover, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

A graveside service was held May 5, 2008, at Woodside Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Douglass Key officiating.

Mrs. McCall was born Dec. 15, 1917, in York County to the late William Boyce and Ethel Lee Grayson Wood. She worked at Huntley in York and was a teacher's aide for the Clover School District. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Scott McCall, a daughter, Frankie Mac Spurrier and a son, Dan L. McCall.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Sammy Ann and Ted McCarley; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Jane McCall; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Clover Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 202 Kings Mountain St., Clover, SC 29710.

M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home of Clover served the family.

David Martin

LAKE WYLIE -- David Allen Martin, 62, formerly of Fairway Ridge, died April 28, 2008, at Pineville Rehab in Pineville, N.C.

A memorial service was held May 2 at River Hills Community Church. Burial with Masonic rites was in River Hills Community Cemetery.

M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Clover served the family.
