Clover hosting tournaments
The Clover Parks & Recreation Department is hosting two Dixie Youth Baseball Sub-District Tournaments at Clover Community Park this week. Twelve players from the Majors (11-12) and 12 players from the AAA (9-10) Spring 2009 Clover Parks & Recreation Department Youth Baseball League represent Clover in the annual Dixie Youth Baseball Tournament with hopes of reaching the Dixie Youth Baseball World Series.
The Region III - Majors Sub-District runs every day through Thursday. The Region III - Majors participants will host Clover, Union (National) and Rock Hill (National). The Sub-District Tournament winner will advance to the District Tournament being held next week in York.
The Region III - AAA Sub-District runs every day through Friday. The Region III - AAA participants will host Clover, Union (National), Rock Hill (National), Chester (National) and York (Central). The Sub-District Tournament winner will advance to the District Tournament next week in Lancaster.
Price of admission costs $3 for adults, $2 for senior citizens and children ages 7-16, and free for children age 6 and younger.

Summer camps continue
River Hills Country Club is offering the following summer Junior Tennis Camps:
• For ages 4-6: 9-10 a.m. July 20-23 and Aug. 3-6.
• For ages 7 and older: 10 a.m.-noon July 20-23, July 27-30 and Aug. 3-6.
Cost for ages 4-6 is $50 per week or $12.50 a day. Cost for ages 7 and older is $100 per week or $25 a day. For more information, 803-831-1493.
