Jacqueline Clarkin of Clover recently published the book, “Off the Beaten Path,” a collection of artwork and poetry writings completed during a 10-year period.
The book takes readers on a journey through four different paths in life – the flower gardens (humor, beauty, earth and nature), the sun shadows (meditative, reflective learnings and insights), the rocky road (tragedy, grief and sorrow learnings) and the ultimate destination (spiritual evolution).
The book was published by Enheart Publishing, Inc. out of Charlotte, whose mission is to “bridge dreams” by producing customized books and products that motivate, eduate and inspire. All Saints Charities, a ministry of All Saints Catholic Church in Lake Wylie, will receive 20 percent of the book proceeds.
“Off the Beaten Path” is currently available for review at the Lake Wylie Public Library and All Saints Catholic Church office, and can be ordered online at jclarkinstudios.com and enheartpublishing.com.
A book release event and reception is planned for 6-9 p.m. Feb. 9 at Lake Wylie Public Library. RSVP by Feb. 6 at 803-222-3647. Art and poetry lovers are welcome to attend. Books and merchandise will not be available for sale at the event.
