CATT launches again Saturday on Wylie

LAKE WYLIE -- 

The 2010 CATT Classic is May 15-16 at Lake Murray and a team only has to finish in the top 70 in the points race of any Spring Carolina Angler Team Trail and you’re eligible.

Members already eligible to enter the Classic can be viewed by clicking on the link in red on the home page of the CATT site. We expect up to 150 teams and we will have motel info up soon. To learn more about the Lake Murray area, visit lakemurraycountry.com.

Thomas Richmond of Rock Hill and Juan Mobley of Charlotte hit it big on Lake Wylie on March 6 with five bass weighing 19.47 lbs. They took home first place out of 28 teams, bonus money and first place Big Fish at 6.32 lbs. - all worth a total of $1,056.

Second place went to Rusty White and Gray Bennett both of Rock Hill with a solid limit weighing 16.81 lbs., and they received $350.

Dejuan Fortner of Clover and Ben Pervine of Gastonia finished in third with 15.94 lbs., plus they had the second-place big fish at 5.04 lbs. All total they received $334.

John Schohn of Lake Wylie and Todd Moss of Gaffney took fourth with 14.91 lbs. and got a check for $130.

Last money place went to Gen and Peyten Webster of Gastonia with 14.71 lbs. for $100.

The next Wylie CATT is Saturday, March 20, at Buster Boyd Access Area.
