Mosque would be slap in face
I am writing this letter in response to the Muslims wanting to build a mosque on the Ground Zero or even near it. Who do they think they are? It was their countrymen who killed over 2,000 people in the two buildings.
Giving them permission to build a mosque by the governor or mayor of New York would be like slapping the faces of all Americans and especially those New Yorkers who lost family members and don’t forget the people who were on the other two planes.
Only Americans have the right to that hallowed ground. Would they allow us to build a church of worship in their country in honor of our men and women who are being killed every day over there? I don’t think so.
