Clover Woman’s Club studies its history; card party set

CLOVER -- 

The Clover Woman’s Club met for the February program on the history of the club. Some of the founding members presented information.

The club began in 1950 with the help of American Thread. Scholarships are given each May to a senior at Clover High School. Last year, three $1,000 scholarships were awarded.

A card party scholarship benefit will be 2 to 5 p.m. March 16 at the Clover School District administrative building. Refreshments will be provided.

Tickets are $10. Call 803-222-2958 or 803-222-1232. Any game you bring can be played.
