Eastern York County transportation planners are seeking input from the Lake Wylie community on which priorities should be included in an upcoming revision of its long-range plan.
The Rock Hill - Fort Mill Area Transportation Study, a federally-mandated transportation planning committee, will soon update its long-range plan. The document will guide road improvement and construction projects in the region over the next 20 - 25 years.
The committee oversees transportation projects in the eastern part of the county, including Tega Cay, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, the Catawba Indian Nation and eastern Lake Wylie.
The committee will hold a public meeting 6 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lake Wylie Public Library, 185 Blucher Circle.
The meeting will include a presentation on the process of updating the long-range plan as well as maps for the public to view and discuss.
