LAKE WYLIE --
A Labor Day weekend fire on Lake Wylie didn’t result in injuries, according to one responding agency.
The Tega Cay Fire Department was one of several agencies responding to a boat fire in the early afternoon of Sept. 1, near Lake Club Marina and Ebenezer Park. The department used its fire boat to extinguish the fire.
A family was aboard, but all made it off the boat without injury.
The incident occurred about 30 feet off shore. Officers said it wasn’t clear whether the boat had been put in recently or was being taken out at the time of the fire.
