The Journey offers American Heritage series

Learn about managing diabetes Sept. 15
FORT MILL Grace Community Church, 1190 Gold Hill Road, will host Managing Diabetes: The Next Step with an A1C Champion at 10 a.m. Sept. 15 in the worship center.
Steve Wille will offer a free, one-hour education program sharing his personal experiences with diabetes and taking insulin. Wille is a trained A1C Champions Program member, supported by Sanofi US, which provides patient-led approach to diabetes educations.
Wille will talk about why insulin is not a sign of failure but may help achieve blood sugar control as an overall diabetes treatment plan, the concerns he had about starting insulin and misperceptions about insulin.
