LAKE WYLIE --
Oakridge Middle School is excited about following Rachel’s Challenge and being a school of kindness.
Students are striving to eliminate prejudice, dare to dream, choose good influences, use kind words and start a chain reaction of kindness.
Every month, two students from each team will be selected to be a Rachel’s Challenger.
These are students who consistently demonstrate character and who strive each day to follow Rachel’s five challenges.
The following students were selected as Rachel’s Challengers for the month of September:
• Sixth grade: Brandon Thomas, Sophia Sprouse, Maddie Franks, Michael Baldizzi, Emily Park and Emily Boudreaux.
• Seventh grade: Franccesca Crovetto, Luke Darling, Kenshu Herr, Abby Bond, Charlie Hoffman and Shelby Sturdevant.
• Eighth grade: Heather Stuber, Marquise Beasley, Jackie McBride, Matthew Javon, Ashanti Long and Kaitlyn Baldizzi.
Hannon Orthodontics sponsors the award.
