A Tuscan Harvest

“A Tuscan Harvest” fundraiser gala to benefit A Place for Hope, 7 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Palmetto Room in Rock Hill. The event features an Italian buffet with special operatic performance, silent auction and entertainment provided by Plair. Art auction

Yorkville Artists’ Guild art auction fundraiser, Nov. 9 at the Magnolia Room, Rock Hill. Doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30. Admission is a $25 donation. The auction will feature original works by local artists. A silent auction will include smaller paintings, and $1 buys a raffle ticket for three original paintings.

Honoring veterans

Tribute to Veterans Ceremony, 10 a.m. Nov. 9, Veterans Garden at Glencairn Garden, Rock Hill. The patriotic program will honor the dedicated men and women of the military. The American Legion Post 34, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2889, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1404, and other local groups will participate. The event is free.
