Rock Hill hosts Ball in the House Nov. 16

ROCK HILL --

The Arts Council of York County presents the a capella sensation, Ball in the House, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Community Performance Center, 249 E. Main St.

Following in the path of classic harmony groups like Boyz II Men, The Temptations and Take 6, with a mix of the classic and the contemporary, the five-member vocal band Ball in the House brilliantly blends a range of influences from R&B to pop and hip hop to gospel.

They have performed with such artists as The Beach Boys, Gladys Knight, The Jonas Brothers, Jessica Simpson, Fantasia, Blondie, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, KC & The Sunshine Band and Kool & the Gang.

Winthrop University’s Jazz Voices will open and perform with Ball in the House. Randy Imler is the current director of Jazz Voices.

Admission costs $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Call 803-328-2787 or visit yorkcountyarts.org.
