Ballrom dance Club’s Holiday Dance is scheduled Dec. 7

FORT MILL The Ballroom Dance Club holds its Holiday Dance from 7:30 to 10:20 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the Oak Room of the Fort Mill Golf Club, 101 Country Club Drive.

Dance is American Social Ballroom style to music provided by DJ Rich Brausch.

First-time guests are free; or cost is $5 per person. Festive attire for this dance.

No alcohol; bring finger foods to share.

Clover Optimist barbecue Saturday

CLOVER The Clover Optimist Club is sponsoring a pork barbecue fundraiser 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, near Killians Service Center, 810 Bethel St. The cost is $8 per plate, $30 for a 5-pound bucket and $4 for sandwich with chips. Drinks cost $1. For each plate, $1 goes to Lee Killian medical fund.

Choraliers to perform at women’s luncheon

LAKE WYLIE The River Hills Women’s Club will feature the Clover High School Choraliers, led by Jay Forrest, at the Dec. 19 luncheon.
