Lake Wylie’s Santa Sleigh 5K Dec. 15

Lake Wylie’s Santa Sleigh 5K and kids 2.5K races will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at The Landing neighborhood to benefit Clover High School AFJROTC and Project UNIFY for the Special Olympics. Cost is $20 for the 5K, $15 for 2.5K.

Follow Knights stadium progress

The Charlotte Knights have launched a ballpark webcam for fans to view the construction of BB&T Ballpark, the future home of the baseball team. The webcam is accessible from the team’s website, charlotteknights.com. Photos of the construction process will be updated daily at the team’s official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

Giants fans gathering

New York Giants fans get together in a special room reserved for game day at Madison’s on The Corner at the corner of S.C. 160 West and Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill.

Fans can watch the game on a projection screen and several flat-screens.

Enjoy a hot buffet for less than $10, or order from the menu. The group typically doesn’t meet for games shown in prime time.

Bills Backers gather for game

Buffalo Bills fans are invited to Towne Tavern at Fort Mill, home of the York County Buffalo Bills Backers Fan Club. Join fellow Bills fans in suite 160 and view all Buffalo Bills games on a 10-foot HD projection with theatre sound.
