Business growth workshop scheduled
The Chester County Economic Development and South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership are hosting a Business Innovation Masterclass Workshop to help companies implement a sustainable business growth system. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 16 at Gateway Commons Business Park, 3200 Commerce Drive, suite B, in Richburg.
South Carolina’s leading economic development engines along with statewide private consulting groups are facilitating the event. This half-day workshop will teach companies how to implement a sustainable system to introduce new products or services, expand into to new markets, and launch new messaging campaigns. The workshop covers business innovation strategy, marketing, and modeling and simulation for growth. Executives and upper level managers from manufacturing and distribution companies are encouraged to attend.
The workshop facilitators are representatives from the SCMEP, which will help participants with developing better business innovation strategies to benefit companies. Participants will learn how Nike, Hewlett Packard, Walt Disney, Procter & Gamble, Slumberger and Ford Motor Co. have applied this system to generate sustainable business growth. The workshop will include presentations, demonstrations and one-on-one breakout sessions.
