ROCK HILL --
The college fishing championships held in September on Lake Wylie will air at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, on NBC Sports.

Twenty college teams from the SEC and ACC conferences and nine of the top high school teams in the Southeast, competed in the National Guard FLW College Fishing Nationals. Each day, teams launched from Ebenezer Park in Rock Hill to fish the waters of Lake Wylie in search of the best bass.
Team weigh-ins were held at the Newport Walmart.
We are proud that Rock Hill will once again be shown on a national stage, said Auvis Cole, sports sales manager of the Rock Hill/York County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
