Carol and Jerry Green of Lake Wylie announce the engagement of Mrs. Green’s son, Gentry Scott Caton, to Allison Katrine Strock, daughter of Jessie and Lynn Strock of Florence. Gentry also is the son of William and Carol Caton of Pineville, N.C.
The future bride received a bachelor’s degree from Furman University and a master’s of occupational therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina.
She is employed as an occupational therapist at Ochsner Northshore Rehab Center.
The future groom received a bachelor’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and a medical doctorate from University of South Carolina Medical School.
He is a general surgery resident at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans.
An April 2013 wedding is planned in New Orleans.
