Women’s Club welcomes chef
LAKE WYLIE The River Hills Women’s Club will hold its monthly luncheon meeting Wednesday, Jan. 16, at River Hills Country Club.

Pope to speak Jan. 25
in Lake Wylie
LAKE WYLIE Rep. Tommy Pope (R-SC Dist. 47) will be the featured speaker at the Jan. 25 meeting of the Clover-Lake Wylie Republican Women at River Hills Country Club.
In addition to legislative updates, the meeting presentation will include discussion of South Carolina’s movement to resist “Obamacare” and the recent “hacking” of the state’s database containing tax information on state residents.
An 11:30 a.m. social will be followed by lunch at noon and speaker at 12:30 p.m. A question-and-answer session will conclude the program.
Guests – both women and men – are invited. Cost of the luncheon is $17 per person.
