RECG co-owners Sharon Salisbury and Heather Lamp specialize in helping buyers and sellers in Lake Wylie and all of York, Mecklenburg and Gaston counties. Based in Lake Wylie, RECG was formed three years ago and closed more than $30 million in deals.

Business growth workshop Wednesday

The Chester County Economic Development and South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership are hosting a Business Innovation Masterclass Workshop to help companies implement a sustainable business growth system. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Gateway Commons Business Park, 3200 Commerce Drive, suite B.

The workshop covers business innovation strategy, marketing, and modeling and simulation for growth. Executives and upper level managers from manufacturing and distribution companies are encouraged to attend.

Queen’s Feast begins Friday

The semi-annual Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week returns for its 10th showing Friday, Jan. 18, through Jan. 27 featuring a record 112 participating restaurants in six counties.

Charlotte Restaurant Week is a metro-area promotion with upscale restaurants offer a prix fixe, three-course (or more) dinner for $30 per person (not including tax and gratuity). Participating restaurants can be found across Charlotte and into Matthews, Concord, Belmont, Gastonia, Waxhaw, Lake Norman area, and Fort Mill.

Additionally, some Queen’s Feast restaurants will extend an exclusive offer to AAA members via the AAA Show Your Card & Save program and have the opportunity to purchase a $50 gift certificate to the restaurant for $25.

Group dog training class begins Jan. 26

Perfect Pet Dog Training will begin its group classes Jan. 26 at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, 5220 Crowders Cove Lane.

Classes run for six to seven weeks, and include AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Life and Social Skills, and Novice Tricks class. Classes will be held indoors.

Alison Pennington of Lake Wylie is the owner and trainer at Perfect Pet Dog Training. She is a graduate of Highland Canine Training School for Dog Trainers and is certified in on- and off-leash obedience and canine behavior modification.

Reunion Tradeshow Feb. 9 in Rock Hill

Plans are under way for the second annual Reunion Tradeshow to be held 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Baxter Hood Center.

The event will feature area attractions, hotels, caterers and other local vendors with products and services that support reunions, club parties and social gatherings.

The York County Library and Family Trust Federal Credit Union are offering free finances and money management workshops “Know Your Dough: Inspiring Financial Freedom,” from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the library on Black Street in Rock Hill.

The Greater Clover Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the sale of a charm bracelet to mark the 125th anniversary of Clover.

The bracelet is $25, available from the Clover chamber and at Good Things Consignment & More and Siopa on Main, both in downtown Clover. The packaging for the bracelet has a card attached that tells when each of the 10 charms represents.
