Business growth workshop Wednesday
RICHBURG The Chester County Economic Development and South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership are hosting a Business Innovation Masterclass Workshop to help companies implement a sustainable business growth system. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Gateway Commons Business Park, 3200 Commerce Drive, suite B.

Queen’s Feast begins Friday
CHARLOTTE The semi-annual Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week returns for its 10th showing Friday, Jan. 18, through Jan. 27 featuring a record 112 participating restaurants in six counties.
Charlotte Restaurant Week is a metro-area promotion with upscale restaurants offer a prix fixe, three-course (or more) dinner for $30 per person (not including tax and gratuity). Participating restaurants can be found across Charlotte and into Matthews, Concord, Belmont, Gastonia, Waxhaw, Lake Norman area, and Fort Mill.
Additionally, some Queen’s Feast restaurants will extend an exclusive offer to AAA members via the AAA Show Your Card & Save program and have the opportunity to purchase a $50 gift certificate to the restaurant for $25.

Group dog training class begins Jan. 26
LAKE WYLIE Perfect Pet Dog Training will begin its group classes Jan. 26 at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, 5220 Crowders Cove Lane.
Classes run for six to seven weeks, and include AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Life and Social Skills, and Novice Tricks class. Classes will be held indoors.
Alison Pennington of Lake Wylie is the owner and trainer at Perfect Pet Dog Training. She is a graduate of Highland Canine Training School for Dog Trainers and is certified in on- and off-leash obedience and canine behavior modification.
