‘True Story of Three Pigs’ on stage Feb. 7
CLOVER The Tarradiddle Players present “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs” at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at Clover School District Auditorium.
“The True Story of the Three Little Pigs” begins where the book leaves off, with the trial of a much-maligned citizen of the piggy public. Alexander T. Wolf is on trial for his deeds.
Three pigs build houses; the one who builds his house out of brick doesn’t get eaten by the Big Bad Wolf and lives to tell the tale. But is it the whole truth or porcine propaganda? That’s the question raised in this brilliant parody of “The Three Little Pigs.”
Admission costs $5, and children age 12 and younger are admitted free.
ROCK HILL The York County Community Foundation is accepting applications from eligible nonprofit organizations, congregations, governmental and educational institutions for its 2013 grants program. Priority will be given to arts and culture, education, environment, health and human services.
Registration should be completed Feb. 22 online at yorkcounty-cf.org.
Completed applications must be submitted by noon March 1. Call 704-973-4559.
