The Arts Council of York County presents the classic film “And Then There Were None” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Community Performance Center, 249 E. Main St.
“And Then There Were None” is based on the novel and ensuing stage play of the same name by Agatha Christie. When 10 people are invited to an isolated island by the absent Mr. U. N. Owen, the guests are killed one-by-one until only two remain. Accusations are made, and each is a suspect. Whodunit, and where is Mr. U. N. Owen?
Directed by Rene Clair, the film stars character actor Barry Fitzgerald and Walter Huston – patriarch to Hollywood’s famed Huston family of actors: John and Angelica Huston and Roland Young. This film won the Golden Leopard best film award at the 1948 Locarno International Film Festival.
The crime-drama mystery is 97 minutes and suggested PG-13.
