LAKE WYLIE --
Clover Middle School students practiced Thursday for an upcoming Special Olympics bowling tournament at Lake Wylie Bowl N’ Bounce. The school’s Unified Sports Special Olympics group is a club meeting twice monthly.
“What we do is we pair students with special needs with classroom students,” said teacher Grier Clarke, who runs the program along with Angela Carpenter.
About 35 students, plus parents, participated.
