Learn to tango Wednesdays
ROCK HILL St. John’s Church, 321 S. Oakland Ave., is offering American Tango lessons at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 13-March 20 .
Josh Love, owner and professional dance instructor at J’Adore Ballroom in Charlotte, will offer lessons in basic American Tango.

Baby Bottles campaign
to begin
LAKE WYLIE All Saints Knights of Columbus Council No. 14475 is launching the Respect For Life Ministry’s baby bottles campaign Feb. 16-17.
Monetary donations - matched by the Supreme Council - are being accepted to fill the bottles to raise money for an ultrasound machine for the Palmetto Pregnancy Center in Fort Mill. So far, Knights have bought seven ultrasound machines for pregnancy centers in South Carolina.
The money also will go toward a memorial plaque in honor of Vincent “Jim” Poto, All Saints Council’s Charter grand knight and champion for life, to hang in the pregnancy center.
Baby Bottles for Life will be handed out at all Masses Feb. 16017, and will be collected Feb. 23-24 and March 2-3.

Pancake supper served Feb. 23
CLOVER Biblical Studies Released Time’s annual pancake supper fundraiser will be served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at Clover High School cafeteria.
Biblical Studies Released Time is the school Bible program in Clover Schools, in third through fifth grades. Students will be performing every 20 minutes.
Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 3-11.
Singles groups meeting
LAKE WYLIE New River Community Church is holding two singles groups, both meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesdays.
• FUSION is for anyone out of high school to age 24. The group currently meets at a member home in York. Singles can build friendships through studying God’s Word together, serving in the community, having fun, and discussing challenges of life.
• Singles Gatherings is for adults ages 25 and older. The group meets at the church, 133 Carroll Cove Road. Connection and Bible study are the primary focuses. Child care is provided for children 10 and younger.

Scherer hosts moms
LAKE WYLIE Scherer Presbyterian Church, 4800 Charlotte Hwy., hosts REST4Moms from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. the second Tuesday of the month.
Mothers begin the morning with coffee, tea and goodies, followed by topics of interest, crafts, conversation and discussion.
Children are treated to crafts, snacks and playtime. Annual cost is $10.

Bible studies held Wednesday
LAKE WYLIE Community Women’s and Grades 1-3 Bible studies are held from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. Wednesdays at River Hills Community Church to share the books of Amos and Isaiah concerning prophecies of Jesus Christ.
CBS is an international Bible study that is nondenominational and unaffiliated with any church, open to all women of all faiths and knowledge levels.
The study includes morning devotional, small group discussion of home-study questions and a large group review.
A nursery and preschool class also are available. Grades 1-3 have their own core group and lecture studying Amos and Isaiah.
