Oakridge Middle selects Rachel’s Challenger students for January
LAKE WYLIE --
Oakridge Middle School honors students every month as a Rachel’s Challenger.
These are students who consistently demonstrate good character and who strive each day to follow Rachel’s five challenges: eliminate prejudice; dare to dream; choose your influences; use kind words; and start a chain reaction of kindness. Hannon Orthodontics sponsors the award.
Students chosen in January are:
• Sixth grade: Samantha Molina, Kevin Riley, Julian Taliaferro, Hannah Sills, Amanda Ringler and Dylan Williams.
• Seventh grade: Dakota Legg, Bent Prikker, Shelli Moua, Mac McGarity, Travis Harris and Bailey Buchko.
• Eighth grade: Hannah Finlon, Ethan Pierce, Austin Johnson, Jesse DeFalco, Rachel Frye and Matthew Good.
