Snow blankets Lake Wylie area; Pilot readers send photos

February 18, 2013

Snow covered the Lake Wylie area Feb. 16 from about 4 to 6 p.m. It was the first regional snowfall accumulation in two years.

There were reports of 4 inches from York County, and the National Weather Service said 3.5 inches was measured a few miles south of Gastonia.

Lake Wylie Pilot readers sent in photos from their neighborhoods.
