Come-See-Me 5K April 13
ROCK HILL Registration for the Come-See-Me Road Race & Fun Run on April 13 is under way.
The 5K road race starts at 8:30 a.m. at the YMCA at 402 Charlotte Ave. and winds through Rock Hill. The 1-mile Fun Run takes a less competitive path.
The race is USATF certified and pre-registered racers may pick up their T-shirts and timing chips on April 12 at the YMCA. Registration for the 5K costs $20 through April 9, or $25 day of beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The Fun Run is free and begins at 8 a.m.

Register for Thread Twilight 5K
FORT MILL The second annual Carolina Thread Trail’s Thread The Thread Twilight 5K Trail Race & Fun Run will be held at 6 p.m. May 18 at Anne Springs Close Greenway.
This trail run event includes a 5K race or 1-mile fun run for all ages, along with an after party of local food, local beer and local live music.
There are 250 spots for the 5K. Cost is $20 by March 11, $25 March 12-April 11, $30 April 12-May 16, or $35 race day.
The 1-mile run/walk cots $10 through April 11, $15 April 12-May 11, or $20 race day.

Golf
Junior program begins Friday
TEGA CAY Tega Cay Golf Club is offering a junior program designed to expose golf to juniors of all ability levels. The Project Impact program, featuring the PGA Sports Academy curriculum, will help youth learn to play golf and have fun.
The series will be offered by PGA/LPGA professionals in a group environment Friday, March 1, with clinic and camp pricing.
The lesson and clinic programs are offered year-round for young children (3 years and older) through competitive-level teens.
Camps will begin June 11. Each session will provide golf and near golf experiences, fitness and nutrition knowledge, and opportunity for on-and-off course athletics.
Golf skills will be the basis for learning, along with sportsmanship and open play.

Junior clinics begin March 2 in Fort Mill
FORT MILL Junior golf instruction begins Saturday, March 2, at Fort Mill Golf Club’s Accelerated Golf Training Academy.
Golf clinics are for children from beginners to intermediate skill levels held 3-4:15 p.m. Saturdays.
