Artsy Affair
The Artsy Affair, 7:30 p.m. March 9, City Club of Rock Hill, 140 E. Main St., Rock Hill. All proceeds benefit The Arts Council of York County programs including arts in education and community engagement programs, small grants to artists, arts organizations and schools, Main Stage Series, Blues & Jazz Festival, Underexposed Film Festival, and exhibits. Artful Weekend, March 9-10, Museum of York County, 4621 Mount Gallant Road, Rock Hill. At 10:30 a.m. March 9 is Nature Journaling & Book Signing with South Carolina illustrator and author Helen Correll. Following her 30-minute program, participants will have the opportunity to purchase and have her sign her illustrated book, “Middlewood Journal: Drawing Inspiration from Nature.” At 11:30 a.m. is Sketching in the Galleries using Sallie Middleton’s works as an inspiration. Clover time capsule dedication, 2 p.m. March 17, New Centre Park. Attendees will bury the time capsule as a finale to the celebration. Attendees are encouraged to wear green for St. Patrick’s Day.
