Twin Rivers opening delayed

— Twin Rivers is looking at an early to mid-August opening.

Originally the plan was to open the new restaurant in mid-July at the former River Rat location at 5301 Hwy. 557 in Lake Wylie.

Marc Biscornet, general manager, said there were delays including having to tap into a water line.

He also said hiring is under way, and the restaurant has received more than 250 applications.

Biscornet has two business partners, Scott Boyd and Breck Fabish. Twin Rivers will be a full-service restaurant and bar with catering. The menu will include prime rib, grilled seafood and steaks, house-ground burgers and a from-scratch kids menu.
