Britax offers free car seat safety check Friday

— TOWNSHIP Drivers who have children’s car seats in their vehicles are welcome to a free safety check and clinic at the Britax USA facility from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6.

The facility, which serves as the company’s North American headquarters, is located at 140 Pleasant Rd., Fort Mill.

Britax is offering the service as a way to promote Child Passenger Safety Week (Sept. 15-21. Sarah Tilton, child passenger safety advocate for BRITAX and a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, will be teaching attendees the correct way to install their car seats, provide safety recommendations and answer questions.
