Health expo to focus on arthritis Oct. 19

The Arthritis Foundation will hold a Multicultural Health Expo, part of their Better Living with Arthritis series, on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The Multicultural Health Expo will feature Dr. Charles Seehorn, a rheumatologist with the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Consultants of the Carolinas. Seehorn will talk about arthritis prevention and control. The expo will feature more than 30 healthcare vendors and service exhibitors. There will be a variety of health screenings, and flu shots will be free for the whole family and will be offered throughout the expo.

This event will also feature a Zumba demonstration, a Tai Chi demonstration, and a nutritional cooking demonstration.

The event will be held at the Camino Community Center/ Bethesda Health Clinic in Charlotte from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For more information on the Multicultural Health Expo, contact Penny Parker at 704-705-1798 or at pparker@arthritis.org.
