• On Oct. 30, Oakridge Middle School seventh-grade football team lost to York 50-14. The Golden Eagles scored on a 47-yard pass from Blake Carter to Chance Woodworth. Woodworth also had a 76-yard touchdown run. Billy George added the 2-point conversion. The defense played well at times, with Dalton Douglas having a good game.

• In their final game of the season, the eighth-grade team lost to Rawlinson Road 39-0. The offense moved the ball well at times, but not consistently enough to put points on the board. Austin Gunnels and Will Griffith ran hard for the Golden Eagles, and late in the game, Roderick Johnson stepped in to block on offense, which helped the team gain late yards. Johnson also had a fumble recovery on defense.
