Police release images of bank robbery suspect

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person who robbed Fifth Third Bank at 212 S. Tryon St. shortly before 4 p.m. Friday.

The suspect, who handed a teller a note demanding money, is described as a black man in his mid-to late-40s and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, a black baseball hat and white tennis shoes.
