Police request public’s help in finding car break-in suspects

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Westover Division are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in 16 vehicle break-ins on New Bern Street on Oct. 2.

A silver 2006 Toyota Solara was also stolen during the incident.

One suspect is described as a 16- to 25-year-old black male who was wearing a black shirt, light-colored shorts, black sandals and white socks.

The second suspect is a black male with a goatee who was wearing a white shirt, black hat, blue jeans and black shoes.
