Lawmakers to speak at Davidson forum

Four Charlotte-area lawmakers will talk about “The Changing State of North Carolina” at a Nov. 18 forum at Davidson College.

Political science professor Susan Roberts will moderate the forum with Democratic Sen. Dan Clodfelter of Charlotte and Republican Sens. Fletcher Hartsell of Concord and Jeff Tarte of Cornelius.

Rep. Grier Martin of Raleigh, grandson of a former Davidson president, also will be on the panel.

The 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. forum will take place in the Alvarez College Union Smith 900 Room, with a reception following. The public is invited. For information, call 704-894-2458. Jim Morrill
