— The Lake Wylie Pilot fielded several calls and emails from Lake Wylie residents today saying dozens of York County Sheriff’s Office deputies were at the bridge over Crowders Creek on Charlotte Highway (SC49) “apparently looking for evidence.”

Trent Faris, public information officer for York County Sheriff’s Office, said the dive team is in training for evidence and body recovery, and a “myriad of different situations.”
