Report: Parsons’ parents in court again Monday

Staff ReportDecember 2, 2013

The parents of missing Rowan County teen Erica Parsons will be back in court again Monday, in a continuation of their hearing to regain custody of their two biological children, according to WBTV.

The children were removed from the home of Casey and Sandy Parsons by social services officials after police learned that Erica Parsons had not been seen since November 2011.

WBTV reports the hearing began last month but was continued because of the large number of people who are testifying.

Casey and Sandy Parsons told police they took Erica to live with a biological grandmother, but Rowan County authorities say they have found nothing to support that story.
