Police need public’s help identifying Charlotte bank robbers

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects in the robbery of a Woodforest National Bank inside of a west Charlotte Wal-Mart.

About 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, police say that two men entered the bank at 3240 Wilkinson Blvd. The men then demanded money from a teller and ran away.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his mid 40s to 50s. Police say he is about 5-foot-9 and weighs about 230 pounds. He had a mustache and was wearing wire-rimmed glasses.

The other suspect is described as a black male in his 20s. Police say he is about 5-foot-8 with a thin build and short hair.
