Electrolux lends a hand

Electrolux on Wednesday delivered a truckload of refrigerators, freezers and stoves to Second Harvest Food Bank, part of the company’s donation of $50,000 worth of appliances to soup kitchens and food pantries in the region. Preschools, homeless shelters and agencies serving seniors also received donations. Electrolux, which has its North American headquarters in Charlotte, has donated more than $550,000 in products in the Charlotte area this year.
