Police ask public’s help in identifying robbery suspect

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking the public’s help in identifying this robbery suspect.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect.

On Thursday, about 12:18 p.m., the armed suspect approached the victims at the 2200 block of Tarlton Drive. He showed the firearm and demanded property from the victims, authorities said.

The suspect then left and there were no injuries.

According to authorities, the suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches, heavy build, and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
