The American Red Cross, in partnership with several local agencies, kept 57 homeless people warm Friday night at the Mecklenburg County Homeless Resource Center.

At the warming station, they received food, water, hot drinks and relief from frigid temperatures. The station is now closed because the Urban Ministry Center/Room at the Inn, and Men’s and Women’s shelters now have openings.
