Clover Zumbathon Feb. 8 collects food, helps pastor

— The Clover Active Living Committee and the Clover YMCA will host a Zumbathon from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Blue Eagle Academy gym, 300 Clinton Ave.

The price to attend is a can food donation, which will go to Clover Area Assistance Center.

Donations for Pastor Sam Thompson of God’s Kitchen, whose home burned on Jan. 22, also will be collected.

A Zumbatonic class for 5- to 12-year-olds will be available.

Several Zumba instructors from the YMCA will be leading.

Child care for children younger than age 5 will be provided at the Clover Y, 107 S. Main St.
