A Charlotte man has been charged in connection with the shooting deaths of three women Wednesday in Cabarrus County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Darryl Angelo Anderson, 37, was charged with three counts of murder, authorities said.

He was arrested after the women were fatally shot about 12:30 p.m. on Geneva Drive, in the Cedar Park Estates community. That is off Lower Rocky River Road near Concord.

The sheriff’s office said detectives believe the suspect and the victims knew each other. Authorities say the shooting was not random, and that Anderson is the only suspect in the case. Investigators also said they think the shootings were related to a domestic dispute.

The victims were killed in three separate locations, according to investigators. They were identified as Sheila Serrano, Jessica Cox and Sharon Cox.
