No injuries in Monroe apartment fire

— No injuries were reported Monday evening in an apartment fire in Monroe.

The blaze was reported about 6:30 p.m. at the Icemorlee Apartments on Icemorlee Street. Firefighters found flames and smoke coming from the building when they arrived.

The American Red Cross said the fire affected four units and displaced 23 residents. The Red Cross was providing support for the fire victims.
