Science is so fun at Winget Park Elementary

April 18, 2014

Almost 300 families attended Winget Park Elementary School’s first Family Science Night on April 8 in Steele Creek.

Families traveled to 30 stations set up around the school, all of which focused on a different science concept. “The favorite station of the evening was the eight Coke geysers that were launched simultaneously every 10 minutes,” said Michelle Beatty, a Winget science lab teacher.

Beatty and 30 other teachers, parents and students volunteered to run the stations. All supplies were donated by families and teachers of Winget Park.
