The Bridge names youth minister

Ja Cook has joined The Bridge Community Church, 3168 Handsmill Hwy., as youth minister.

Cook has a master’s in ministry leadership from Rock Bridge Seminary. He started at Cornerstone Church, as youth pastor and then moved into the creative pastor position. When Cornerstone became a multi-site church, Cook served as campus pastor at the main campus in Orangeburg before moving to Clover to start the Clover campus.

“My passion is to help the students of our church and our community find, follow and be like Jesus,” Cook said. “We want everything we do to be for the good of the community and the glory of God.”

Freshly branded as the Bridge Student Ministry, Cook will begin a youth small group this month meeting 6:30-7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Bridge office on Bethel Street.

The Bridge Community Church meets at 10:30 a.m. Sundays on Handsmill Highway. Small group Bible study is held throughout the week at several locations.
